Twitter Logon’s
June 2, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Apparently Twitter is having some issues with their Oauth feature aka their logon with Twitter feature. Because this is a third party service this is beyond our control, from what we read this is only a problem in Internet Explorer. For an immediate work around use Firefox or logon with your Daimokuchart internal logon that you created when first registering with us.

You Too Can Make A Difference
May 30, 2009 · Leave a Comment
As we get ready to roll out a mobile version of Daimokuchart, which will allow you to log your daimoku and be determined while on the road from the convenience of your mobile phone. We have several other new features scheduled to be rolled out over the next few months. Features of which were suggested by your fellow members of Daimokuchart.
You too can help shape Daimokuchart into the buddhist social network you would like to see. How? You ask. It’s simple just go to http://feedback.daimokuchart.com and type in any ideas you may have to help improve Daimokuchart. The same applies if you experience any problems during your visit to Daimokuchart, I am only human I do make mistakes and sometimes develop the site in my sleep.
As always stay tuned to this blog for status updates and feature launch news.

Cookies, Cookies, Cookies
May 27, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Apparently we had a glitch on the site which had to do with cookies again. What was going on is if you used the Twitter logon or checked the remember me option upon logon and didn’t visit the site in a few days, pages would crash. This problem has been resolved hopefully if you still experience this issue just simply hit the logoff link in the upper right corner of ther site and log back on again.

Maybe It Should Be An Alpha Release
May 21, 2009 · Leave a Comment
It’s been two months since we launched Daimokuchart, and so far things have been running pretty smooth. We have some great members who have been sending us feedback and dealing with errors when something goes wrong, because I sometimes program the site in my sleep. At least you would think anyhow, as sometimes the errors are due to coding mistakes that are just obvious oversites on my part.
However; that is why it’s called “Beta” software, although sometimes I wonder if we really should have called it an “Alpha” release instead. None the less either will do as it’s just a term to show that the site may break when you least expect it and features may come and go based on feedback. With that all set aside I hope everyone enjoys the site as much as I have enjoyed making it.

We moved our blog to a seperate host, so in the even our servers go down you can still get status updates on our service as it is unlikely that both will be down at the same time.
